Tasting Notes:

A quick snip with a guillotine cut and we are able to try a cold draw. The draw has a nice flow and a flavor of rich tobacco with some baking spice. I toast the foot and begin to light up the cigar.

The initial puffs are unoffensive and leave me with a mild and long finish of mild baking spice with a creamy texture. It is salty at first, which is more of final note typically for me but not a strong salt so enjoyable. This salt is welcome in the next few puffs and a retrohale leaving me with a salted caramel note on the palate.

The start of the 2nd third brings with it a brown sugar sweetness with a bready texture and a chocolate combing to remind me of the brownies I ate the last time I was with the kids. I retrohale again and get a blast of nuts that combine with a creamy texture of bread leaving me with memories of gram cracker goodness that is fleeting.

As we progress toward the sweet spot I get a shift in flavors and the salted caramel comes back with a bready texture to it. Moving into the next third I retrohale and get a gingerbread flavor. A few moments later and I get cinnamon bready goodness with vanilla sweetness reminding me of the last time I ate at Cinnabon.

The final third continues to impress and never loses the sweetness or the bready cinnamon notes. I smoke it down to the butt and realize this Is not only a “butt worthy” cigar but it also exceeds “box worthy” and in my view is “Unrivalled.”
